“I am a Senior Art Therapy Major with a double minor in Psychology and Business. During my time spent at Marywood I have sought involvement in various aspects of campus. One of my favorite leadership roles was serving as the 2015- 2016 President of Alpha Sigma Psi. Also, I have enthusiastically spent the past 4 years recruiting incoming students by working as an admissions ambassador. Some other activities that keep me busy is our annual Kidstuff event for underprivileged children. Serving as chair the past three years has been by far one of the most rewarding experiences.
One of my proudest achievements to date was traveling to Tanzania this past summer to work in an orphanage and teach English at an all girl’s secondary school. International service is something close to my heart and if awarded the opportunity I hope to continue in the future.
As my time spent at Marywood concludes, I look forward to moving to Washington D.C to attend The George Washington University to earn my Master’s of Art Therapy & Counseling.”
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing.” -Pele
