“I moved to Scranton nearly two years ago to join the Communication Sciences and Disorders department as an assistant professor. Having completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at large universities, Marywood’s size was quite a change for me! That being said, I love the community atmosphere of campus and having the opportunity to really get to know my students. I enjoy participating in activities that bring together students and faculty outside of the classroom. We can all learn so much from one another.”
I’m an assistant professor of graphic design in the Department of Visual Arts. For the last 3 years I’ve been having great fun in my letterpress shop, The Workshop, on Adams Ave. in Scranton. You can find me there printing up fun with wood type, metal type and lots of vintage image cuts that I obsessively collect. I also teach letterpress workshops with a little bit of printing history and host First Friday exhibits there. Stop in sometime and check out a little history.
Ryan Duggan and Kelly Hench graduated from Marywood University in 2012. After graduation, Ryan accepted a TV production position with WWE and Kelly went on to complete a graduate degree in Higher Education Administration from The College of William and Mary.
Today, both Ryan and Kelly are working for WWE in Stamford, CT. Ryan, now an Associate Producer, is responsible for creating, editing and producing dynamic content for WWE’s weekly programming. Kelly is a Learning & Development Specialist, combining her love of business and education into managing the corporate learning initiatives of WWE.
Back in 2012, upon graduation, neither knew exactly where their paths would lead, yet both are very thankful opportunity has taken them to where they are. One thing is for sure, when working for a sports entertainment company, life is never boring!
Recently engaged, Ryan and Kelly are looking forward to both personal and professional happiness as they plan to be married next year.
